Joyce Nunley Weaver, age 66 of Penhook passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Roy Nunley “Joe” and Ruth Wagner Nunley. Surviving Joyce is her husband, Stafford; son, Rex Anderson (Kayla); her brothers, Charles Nunley (Becky) and Johnny Nunley (Allison); step-children, Jimmy Weaver (Cristen), Kim Amos (Roger) and Samantha Brown (Brandon) along with 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; her fur babies, Benji and Bear. Joyce was a retired Bus Driver for Franklin County Schools as well as a hair dresser. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 14, 2023 with interment following in Franklin Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
