Patricia Gertrude Buckner Robertson, age 88 of Rocky Mount passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. 

She was born on August 28, 1936 in Elmore, Alabama to William and Gertrude Buckner and had six siblings. After graduating from Chilton County High School, she met and married James Robertson, moved to Rocky Mount, Virginia and had three wonderful children: Brent, Chris, and Leah. She had a passion for cosmetology and spent most of her working life as a hairdresser. She was always very involved in her church and loved her Methodist community dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robertson; mother and father, William and Gertrude Buckner; her brothers, Larry and James Buckner; and her sisters, Virginia Buckner and Ann Kundrat.

She is survived by her brothers, Bobby Buckner of Sacramento, CA and Howard Bucker of Thornsby, AL; her three children, Brent Robertson (Teresa), Chris Robertson (Betty) and Leah Broholm (Alan); her six grandchildren, Kendall Wilson, Alana Broholm, Alex Robertson, Jaeger Broholm, Evan Robertson and Amy Robertson; and her two great-grandchildren, Ryan and Blake Wilson. 

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Flora Funeral Service in Rocky Mount. A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, August, 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Rocky Mount United Methodist Church with a luncheon to follow. Interment will be private in Franklin Memorial Park.
