Sandra Hall Turman, age 73 of Rocky Mount, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Born on March 14, 1951, Sandra worked at PlyGem for 25 years, where she made lasting friendships and contributions to the company. In her early years, she loved to bowl, play volleyball and softball. Sandra also loved to play bingo multiple times during the week.

Sandra was a loving and doting mother, grandmother, and friend who loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking large meals for the family.

She is survived by her son Richie Turman and his wife Lindsey Turman of Ferrum, VA, and their children, Colin Turman and the late Lena Turman; her daughter Tracie Cooper and her husband Tracey Cooper of Wirtz, VA, and their son Spencer Cooper; and her brother Kent Hall and his wife Claudine Hall of Moneta, VA. She was preceded in death by her dearest love Thomas Lomax; her siblings Daniel Hall, Glenwood Hall, Allen Hall, and Bertha Hammock.

Sandra is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

The family would like to extend a very special and loved thanks to Brittany Hall Orange for the support and help she has given Sandra over the last several months.

Funeral services will be private. Her family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
