December 22, 1971 — August 12, 2023

Edward Lee "Eddie" Lamkin, age 51 of Ferrum passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023. He was born on December 22, 1971 to James Harvey and Nancy Dudley Lamkin. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children, Amber Mann (John), Tori Lamkin, Cody Lamkin, Scott Lamkin, Adam Lamkin, and Abby Lamkin; grandchildren, Sofia Mann, Marshall Mann, Zayne Mann, Jaxon Hodges; brother, Chris Lamkin (Paula Odell).

He was a loving father, grandfather, devoted pastor, and he loved his Lord and Savior.  His church family was his extended family that he truly loved and thought of as his family.  He owned his construction business, H & L. Handyman Service, and he was an avid coon hunter as well.  He was a generous man, always willing to help others in a moment’s notice. 

Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Conner-Bowman Funeral Home with Pastors Kenny Harris and Marcus Daniel officiating.  Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home.
