Daniel C. Haymore, 72 of Vinton, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coolidge Haymore and Burnease Haymore Bevin, and his first wife, Carolyn Lamb Haymore.

Daniel retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad after 34 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, Daniel loved hunting, especially turkey hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Debra D. Haymore, sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy & Emily Haymore, Josh & Nicole Haymore, grandchildren, Eliza, Benton, Nola, Andrew & Luke Haymore; 2 step-daughters, Christie Wertz and Renee Kincer and her husband Stacey, step-grandchildren, Taylor, Brooklyn, Atlanta & Sydney, and three step-great grandchildren, Reagan, Hudson & Oaklyn. Daniel is also survived by two brothers, David Haymore and wife Cindy, Darrell Haymore and wife Sue; father-in-law, Alvin E. Davis, sisters-in-law, Teresa Grose and Tina Sensabaugh, four-legged friend, Jake, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, March 10, 2025, at Vinton Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
